The third Ewan Brown Anarchist Bookfair is at the Star and Shadow in Newcastle on 1 June (and it’s not just all about books…).

There will – of course – be plenty of stalls to browse at this wonderful event, stalls that have been set up by many of the region’s radical collectives, but there will also be plenty of practical workshops (such as basic bike mechanics), art exhibitions, and DJs in the café area with scrummy food available from the Star and Shadow community kitchen. And then – in the evening – there will be live music from bands and other artists. The event tries to be as free as possible, so donations are very much appreciated.
