You physically could not escape PinkPantheress’ hit with Ice Spice, ‘Boy’s a liar Pt. 2’ earlier this year, so I was intrigued to see what else she had to offer on this debut album of hers. ‘Heaven Knows’ is a fun listen, developing the short but sweet internet hits that drove her to fame into a more substantial exploration of the pop genre, with some hints of R&B that create some noughties nostalgia. Vibrant synths and laid back percussion compliment PinkPantheress’ signature soft vocals well, with her sound noticeably elevated by some well thought out production. LT
