Alison Garner’s vocals are as dreamy as ever on this, the first release from The Fauns in around a decade. The Bristol band formed in 2007 and soon found favour among shoegaze aficionados who snapped up their self-released debut album and subsequent follow up – 2013’s ‘Lights’. But this release feels like another step-up again for the band, with these propulsive tracks imbued with an infectious, starry-eyed widescreen sensibility.
