Maisie Peters - The Good Witch

Another favourite of the year for me. I’ve been a huge fan of Maisie Peters ever since I first heard ‘Psycho’ back in 2021 (she also killed it as Ed Sheeran’s support act last year) and she just keeps on getting better. This second album sees Peters confidently lean into everything she does so well - witty lyrics, emotionally-charged vocals and anthemic songs that feel like they should be on the soundtrack of an iconic 2000’s chick-flick. She deals with heartbreak in a way that is so relatable it hurts, yet ‘The Good Witch’ also empowers us to believe that we are so much more than our failed relationships. Best served blasting in the car while you belt out the lyrics with your pals. LT
