Houghall Gardens

Open: All year. Set across 25 acres, the beautiful Houghall Gardens host a range of garden styles along with a country coffee shop. There is a small charge to obtain a worthwhile guide that will help you explore the arboretum, which contains some rare tree varieties as well as the National Collection of Whitebeams. Look out for the nearby Houghall Discovery Trail, a two-mile wooded track through the countryside.
