Catch one of the the nation’s most beloved musicals ‘Kinky Boots’ when it comes to Darlington this May.

The story of Charlie Price, who tries to revive his father’s failing shoe factory with the help of drag queen Lola, first saw light of day in 2005. Many fell in love with the extraordinary tale from the get-go, but many are still getting on board with this musical which will be dancing into Darlington this spring. Featuring one of the very best musical scores by Cyndi Lauper – who pulls out all the stops – and starring an absolutely rocking cast from the brilliant Darlington Operatic Society (including Leighton Taylor-Jones as Lola – pictured), this heartwarming tale will show you that changing your mind about something, can change your whole world; and people you once saw differently are more similar than you think...
