If you build it...

…they will come. ‘Wey Aye LEGO Man 2024’ showcases a ground-breaking collection of Lego man themed photography by talented neurodiverse artists from the region.

2023’s ‘Wey Aye LEGO man’ show was a huge success, and this year’s week-long event looks all set to be another “must see”. It showcases the talents of neurodivergent photographers who have all used Lego in their portraits (portraits that also celebrate the rich cultural diversity of the region). As well as being enormous fun, the exhibition also aims to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of neurodiversity through the universal language of Lego. The whole thing is kicking off with an opening party on Friday 26 April (5-7pm) at the John Marley Centre in Newcastle. This will include a silent auction, a Lego creation station, and augmented reality experiences. There will also be light refreshments and, of course, the chance to mingle with other Lego enthusiasts and talented local artists. The exhibition will then run for a week. File under: Do Not Miss.
