The debut album from this Australian singer-songwriter boasts an eclectic take on pop as a genre. Though united by Fischer’s authentic and emotive lyrical voice, no two songs on this album are the same - each one offers something different, whether it be the heartbroken piano keys and choir vocals of the title track or the catchy, upbeat rhythms of motivating earworm ‘Alright’. The variety of colourful sounds found on this album are mixed up further by some impressive collaborations with Meghan Trainor, Demi Lovato and Amy Shark. A bit of a pop powerhouse if you ask me. LT
