This release marks the US troubadour’s 10th studio album but there are no signs of him feeling in any way jaded because the eleven tracks here sound as fresh as the morning dew. He has one of those easy-to-listen-to-easy-to-love voices and he pens tunes that are warm and really draw you in, whether he’s hitting those gently anthemic beats or pushing a finger-picked ballad. Just lovely. GM
