Gorillaz - Cracker Island

Gorillaz never fail to have an impressive range of collaborations and this new album is no exception, featuring Stevie Nicks, Tame Impala and Bad Bunny to name just a few. If this didn’t already show off the band’s kaleidoscope of influences and genres, the way ‘Cracker Island’ seamlessly flits between pop, funk, synth and Latin does. Eight albums down, Gorillaz are as innovative as ever, developing musically while still managing to retain the familiar sound that made us fall in love with them in the first place. Could we expect any less creativity from a band of cartoon characters? LT
