BIAB are Portland’s Christine and Chad McAllister, and they won’t be winning any awards any time soon for ‘Exciting New Directions In Music’, but what they do, they do very well. And what they do is make indie-rock that is thrumming with heart, passion and – lyrically – can cut you to the bone. And Christine has one of those voices that you just want to listen to; a storytelling voice, and, boy, do this pair have stories to tell. A real find. GM
