Hailing from Gateshead this “recording project” is continuing to explore the outer reaches of a post-rock landscape by virtue of a whole bunch of songs that pull off that rare trick of sounding both huge and intimate. There’s a skip-in-the-step to the odd tune (‘Sylvia Plath’), but the mood is mostly one of introspection, and is none the worst for it. This is a release to sink deep in to and let its charms unfurl around you. GM
