Rosie Carney is the Irish musician/singer who gained a certain amount of traction when she released an album featuring covers of all the tracks on Radiohead’s ‘The Bends’. But with her new release, she proves she’s a superb tunesmith in her own right with a clutch of songs that are both intimate and warm (her beautiful vocals are show-stopping but in an unshowy way). If you’re a fan of Taylor Swifty’s ‘Folklore’, then I reckon you’re going to pretty much love this. JL
