Play. Pie. Pint.
Enjoy the latest from Òran Mór theatre in Glasgow at Northern Stage this November while also tucking into a drink and something to eat.
The ‘A Play, A Pie and A Pint’ initiative has been a roaring success and it’s coming to Newcastle this November. The gist is you get a brand-new, 50-minute play, along with a pint (or wine or soft drink) and a pie (vegan and gluten free available). And the Play bit of this event, ‘Making Way, looks equally as enticing. A comic and poignant tale of morality and misunderstanding, John Maley’s piece offers a fresh contemporary tale on the vampire myth… It sees a weary widower injected with a new lease of life, but discovers that immortality isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, and, indeed, there are severe costs.
A Play, A Pie and A Pint: Making Way, 17-21 November, Northern Stage, Newcastle, 1pm & 6pm (Sat 12pm & 4pm), from £14, northernstage.co.uk
