Bad never looked so good

‘Best Worst Dances’ is balletLORENT really letting their hair down, and you’re all invited to one of their very special after dark performances where the bar is always open and the mirror ball is always down.

A cursory glance at the comments made by the visitors who attended the last ‘Best Worst Dances’ event will give you some idea of what it’s all about: “A glorious, joyful, kaleidoscopic experience – I had a grin from ear to ear all night! I went home inspired to dance like no one was watching.” And this: “Beautifully conceived and full of colour and life – witty, wild, and utterly joyful.” And this: “An intoxicating ride – playful, surprising, and full of wild energy. A proper night out! I LOVED it!” They’re nights where professional performers get together with members of the public to create imaginative responses to a jukebox of popular songs; nights where every movement counts, every dancer shines, and the result is a vibrant, uplifting celebration of music, connection, and the pure joy of being on the dancefloor. If you want to give yourself a treat when party season hits in December, they really don’t get any better than this.

Best Worst Dances, 3-5 December, balletLORENT, John Marley Centre, Newcastle, doors 7.15pm (show 8pm), £20 (ages 16-25 £15). balletlorent.com
