Artists, makers, crafters and sundry small businesses in the region will be setting out their stalls when the first ever HBW X NCA Arts Market takes place at High Bridge Works in Newcastle this early October.

The picture above doesn’t depict a HBW x NCA Arts Market, mainly because such an event hasn’t happened and therefore no such images are kicking around yet. (The photo actually shows the Newcastle College Final Show 2026, and was taken by Christian Alderson. We’re using it here because it’s the one that High Bridge Works has been using on their promotional material etc.) But the picture does give you an indication of the lovely space that High Bridge Works enjoys, a space which will be filled with all manner of good stuff this October. In all, 30 stalls will be packing out the gallery which means it will be chockablock with quality produce from local artists, crafters, independent makers, and from independent businesses in the north-east. If you’ve not visited the gallery before then slap yourself on the wrist before making tracks towards this market in the centre of Newcastle, for what promises to be a real eye-opener.
