One of Sunderland’s finest indie bands Hivemind are playing a hometown gig this October, which is the kind of good news that you need in your life right now.

Hivemind are firm local favourites, but they’ve also been in much demand from other acts and have opened for the likes of LaFontaines, My Vitriol, The Bunny The Bear, Fearless Vampire Killers, and even Shaun Ryder. They were also hand-picked to play the This Is Tomorrow Festival by BBC Introducing, and it’s easy to hear why the clamour for their stuff is hitting some real highs. Their infectious energy and hook-laden alt-rock has already seen them rack up over 100k streams, proving they know how to command a crowd whether on festival stages or through speakers.
