This North Yorkshire based singer-songwriter scored significant success with his last album, which has racked up nearly 100k streams, and his latest should cement his place as an artist who loves to push pop into some very interesting directions. It’s a release resplendent with shimmering synths, melodies that really catch the light, and ROJOR’s trademark vocals which call to mind those other purveyors of sophisticated pop such as Robert Palmer and The Blue Nile’s Paul Buchanan. Beautiful stuff. DP
