The project of local lad Andrew Belshaw, Electrobella deal in some of the most sizzling and danceable grooves you’ll find anywhere. From the Goldfrapp-esque ‘I Am A Rocket’, to the sweat-drenched eroticisms of ‘Super Hot’, to the Italo disco-isms of ‘Jane, Where Did You Go?’, to the Katy Perry-like ‘Watch Me Go’, this is an album absolutely fizzing with poppy hooks galore. I’m not sure who the female vocalist is who crops up on most tracks, but she can hold a tune. Amazing! DP
