North Sixteen (Indie Through The Looking Glass)Jo Bartlett released her first record when she was just 18—as part of the C86 movement—while Neil Haydock’s band Submarine found much favour in the 1990s, supporting the likes of Flaming Lips and Spiritualized. Recently the pair began recording together and this 10-track album is as sparkling a slice of big-hearted indie as you’re likely to find this year.
