A silent disco? Inside Newcastle Cathedral? This September? You better believe it, bub!

All rise and praise the blessed DJs because the team that brought us the awesome—and totally sold out—‘Silent Discos on the Beach’ parties are hitting us up with three different clubbing sessions inside perhaps Newcastle’s most famous building. It’s true! And it’s all happening on Saturday 26 September, kicking off with a family session between 12pm-2.30pm. That’s followed by the adults-only shindigs which will take place between 3.30pm-6pm, then 6.30pm-9pm. The hallowed arches of the cathedral will be bedecked in neon, with clubbers bathed in atmospheric light. Just slip on your LED headset and you’re off, dancing to a mix of 90s and 00s hits, alongside modern bangers (and for the family session, kids’ party favourites). For your comfort, the volume on the headphones can be adjusted to suit, and when you fancy a breather, there will also be a fully stocked bar. Sold! DP
