I’m about as on-board with this gig as it’s possible to be, as 1-800 GIRLS’ ‘LOVE’ album—which was released earlier this year—is right up their with my faves of 2026. Packed with emotional depth, lush analogue textures, and a deeply warm, nostalgic feel, ‘LOVE’ proves that house music can hit you squarely in the feelings while keeping your feet moving. Stewart’s knack for blending melancholy vocal samples with driving, four-to-the-floor rhythms elevates his tracks far beyond standard club fare. It’s the kind of euphoric, late-night soundtrack that feels as tailor-made for headphones on a solitary walk home as it does for a packed, sweat-slick dancefloor. And bringing that signature sound to the intimate confines of Think Tank? rings all my bells.
