Colour me interested

Get ready to immerse your senses at Sunderland Culture’s latest captivating exhibition, ‘Chroma: A Measure of Colour’.

This striking showcase dives deep into the emotional, physical, and psychological power of the colour spectrum, exploring how hue and saturation shape our perception of the world. Local artists from Interface Arts have been exploring the possibilities and layered dimensions of colour to present a body of unique, original artwork celebrating the joy of colour. Research, experimentation and intuition have inspired new, emerging colours, contrasts, depths, and subtleties, taking the form of both figurative and abstract artwork created in a wide range of mediums. Interface Arts is an artist-led, democratic networking group from Durham and the surrounding areas who meet regularly, aiming to promote participation and wider exposure to the arts using members’ skills to facilitate creative activities.
