The awesome House Of Tynemouth (HOT) are back at their spiritual home – El Globo Barca Art Bar – this August, and they’ve got a suitably sizzling line-up.

I love the El Globo Barca Art Bar. In fact it may be my very favourite coastal drinking establishment. I’ve also attended some incredible club night there over the years so it’s great news that House of Tynemouth are pitching their tent their again this August. And among those giving the up for it punters what they want will be local heroes Smoove and Turrell (pictured) who will be on DJ/PA duties. Also keeping the party bubbling will be Andrew Baxter and Soulidarity. If funky house, soul, funk, disco and soulful house are your thing, then etch this one into your diary forthwith – it’s going to come to the boil.
