Edinburgh Fringe sensation, Lorna Rose Treen is bringing her many silly characters to The Stand in Newcastle this September for an afternoon of pure fun.

Fresh off the back of three critically-acclaimed, sell-out Edinburgh Fringes – and winning Dave’s Funniest Joke of the Fringe award – Lorna Rose Treen is hitting the road for her debut tour. It’s a chance to get inside the comic’s feverish mind as she presents a surreal, silly and ultimately joyful hour of character comedy. The comedian has won rare critical praise, including from the Evening Standard who frothed: “A gloriously daft hour that is heavily reminiscent of peak-era French and Saunders”. And further afield, even the New York Times weighed in with: “The buzziest of the buzzy.” Gonna be good.
