Apparently it’s true – this Teesside rock band really did play the iconic Whisky a Go Go venue on the Sunset Strip, and this stonking album is the absolute proof. It features eight songs of feel-good Rock (Rock with a capital Rrrr) and it barrels along with all the alacrity of a runaway train. The band have a real boogie-down swagger to their craft and that’s very evident on these live recordings, which are replete with fist-punching-the-air choruses and riffs that lift you to a higher plane.
