A sensational story

If you haven’t got to know Ella Willis yet, then you have the perfect chance to do just that when they release their new book ‘Literally: A Joyful Guide to the Ups and Downs of Being Autistic’ this June.

Ella is a neurodiverse, non-binary, queer content creator amassing millions of followers on TikTok and Instagram, sharing their story of growing up with autism and ADHD – and all with that canny grit that comes with being from the north-east. Their new book ‘Literally: A Joyful Guide to the Ups and Downs of Being Autistic’ is, as it says on the cover, a light-hearted, peer-to-peer guide on how to get through this if you’re in a similar boat. With information on self-diagnosis, anecdotes about being diagnosed with the ‘male brain’ disability, and how to cope with relationships, masking and communication, the book is a fantastic read whether you share similar neurodiversity or not, and it provides some of the best advice you’re likely to find in this modern age.
