There’s nothing more special than finding that perfect piece of jewellery that you know you’ll wear forever, and it’s even better when you can meet the maker. And that’s exactly what you can do when you head down to the Northern Handmade Edit Pop-Ups in Gosforth this April (and Ouseburn in May).

These delectable pop-ups will feature some brilliant hand-made jewellery from north-east-based independent jewellers like Urban Silver Jewellery, whose owner Mel Charnock will be selling some of her favourite pieces. Mel takes inspiration from her surroundings, and incorporates them into creative pieces that are made from recycled mixed metals. From beautiful pendants and statement earrings, to rings that you can wear with everything, the pop-up is the perfect place to see Mel’s jewellery up close and pick something you’ll be able to treasure forever. You can visit the Gosforth pop up at Gosforth Central Shopping Centre from Wednesday 8 April – Sunday 12 April, or head to Bottleworks in Ouseburn between Friday 1 May – Tuesday 5 May. FR
