With a cover by acclaimed Canadian artist Darren Merinuk, and the plaudits of The Stingrays frontman Bal Croice ringing in their ears (“This is one of the best surf albums in over ten years”), this Durham bunch boot surf and garage punk into orbit with a release that is all hopped up on deliriously twangy riffs and Cramps’ like scuzz. What’s more, it was mixed by Doyley – of key psychobilly band The Klingonz – and he keeps the pot bubbling right from the get-go. DP
