Oh! There for art thou!

One of Shakespeare’s finest ‘Romeo and Juliet’ is coming to the Forum Theatre in Billingham in early February.

You may think that the biggest tragedy of late winter is when you get your credit card/heating bill, but those daggers to the heart have nothing on those two star-crossed lovers, Romeo & Juliet. And this full-scale production will see the Forum Theatre in Billingham turn fervent with rivalry, rebellion and forbidden love this February. Set in fair Verona, the two young lovers are torn between loyalty and desire, family and fate as the deadly feud between the Montagues and Capulets rages on. Shakespeare’s greatest love story is presented here in all its breath-taking intensity, with fierce sword fights, searing emotion and a romance for the ages.

Romeo & Juliet, Wednesday 4 February, Forum Theatre, Billingham, 2.30pm, from £17, forumtheatrebillingham.co.uk
