Your cosiest night out

Fun festivities and queer joy collide at the wholesome gathering otherwise known as the Queer Coffee Club.

The Queer Coffee Club has been one of my highlights for a few months now, as it’s incredibly important to give these relaxed spaces their flowers when city life tends to favour the fast-paced, high-energy events on the calendar, and this one is a little different in January. This “after hours” event follows a sold-out first run in September and will have drinks, delicious local food, an open-mic where you can expect anything from music to comedy to poetry, and a little bit of drag queen energy to keep everything flowing. This is a safe and inclusive space for all, with Queers of the North focusing on accessibility, plenty of options for those who are sober, and a welcoming, vibrant team to make you feel warm and loved.
