Since launching in 2024, Hut on the Green has gone from strength to strength. It’s run by a dedicated bunch who believe in the power of creativity to bring people together; to inspire, and to make a difference. It’s more than just a space, it’s become a community, a place where hands and minds come together to make, learn and share. From arts to crafts to horticulture to other creative pursuits, they cover plenty of bases. In January alone they’re running classes such as ‘Introduction to Acrylics’, ‘Introduction to Oil Paints’, ‘Life Drawing’, ‘Introduction to Watercolour’, ‘Intermediate Watercolour’, ‘Get Started with Drawing’, ‘Introduction to Dressmaking’, ‘Intermediate Photography’ and ‘Woodpeckers’ (a fun and hands-on weekly club designed to teach children the skills of woodworking and making).
