The Playhouse in Whitley Bay are renowned for their side-splitting pantos that are enormous fun for all the family and this year they’re bringing us their wondrous take on ‘Beauty and the Beast’.

The Playhouse broke box-office records last year with their panto, and the same team that conjured up that particular delight are behind this year’s take on the evergreen classic that is ‘Beauty and the Beast’. What’s more, this timeless tale of love and magic will star the BAFTA award-winning CBBC star Dani Hamer – the unforgettable Tracy Beaker herself. And, once again, Daniel Mawston will return as Dame Patsy, as will Steve Walls. Expect extravagant costumes, belly-laughs galore (which will set adults chortling as much as the kids), and a sense of enchantment from beginning to end.
