Twenty-five years since its original release Britpoppers My Life Story are re-releasing their 2000 album. Featuring the singles ‘It’s a Girl Thing’, ‘Empire Line’ and ‘Walk/Don’t Walk’ it’s nice to revisit it and its references to the concerns of the time: Monica Lewinsky, Tamagotchis and the dot-com boom. It also sounds as melodic as ever and this new package comes complete with b-sides, rarities and the odd period gem. It’s also available on double-vinyl. GM
