In the present day, Roma works for Electric Dreams, a shop selling all manner of geekish stuff and retro goodies. The shop intermittently receives boxes from house clearances that usually contain CDs, DVDs and the odd videogame. But one day Roma comes across an old videotape that’s been wrapped in an old newspaper. Scored onto the newspaper in biro are two messages. One reads: Shhh… loud girls get what’s coming to them. The other reads: Rapist. Intrigued, she watches the video and sees old footage of a forgotten band. The scene then switches to some horrific goings-on in a hotel room.
