The pop project of Canadian vocalist and composer Katie Stelmanis, this super album sees her trying to mend her broken heart by way of some euro-dance beats and plenty of salty lyrics (“You said I needed my own friends / So I found them / Then you fucked them.”). Apparently Stelmanis and co-producer Kieran Adams took sonic inspiration from the William Orbit produced Madonna album ‘Ray of Light’ and I can certainly hear that in these sad-pop bangers that arrow straight for your heart while sending you to the dancefloor.
