Seven year itch!

Can the browse-tastic Flea Circus be seven years old already? Yes, indeed! And it’s still as good as ever.

Situated on the same row as The Star & Shadow cinema in Newcastle, Flea Circus has been my go-to place when I’m in the market for – well – just about anything really. They sell a vast array of vintage treasures that take in all sorts including furniture, lighting, homeware, vinyl and HiFi equipment, books, comics, candles, curios (who doesn’t love a curio?), loads of clothes, electronics (including some very lovely retro-gaming stuff), and accessories. They also support an array of local and very talented creatives who make original and handcrafted goods. And, let it be said, my living room is absolutely festooned with the many potted plants I’ve purchased from the place. The Flea Circus Facebook and Instagram pages are always worth checking out to see what sort of delectable new stock they have, but above all else Flea Circus is a bricks and mortar shop and I always find my best bargains when I actually pay them a visit. If you’ve not availed yourself of this gem before, then drop what you’re doing pronto and set your sat nav to Warwick Street in Newcastle. DP
