Punk! Metal! Alt-rock!

GlobeFest is hitting Newcastle over three days this November with 15 well feisty bands raising funds for the wonderful Globe venue.

And headlining GlobeFest on the very first night is a real Crack fave in the shape of OCHISIA (pictured). Of their recent single ‘Remains of Yesterday’ we had this to say: “If you’re in the market for feisty post-hardcore, served with a healthy dollop of punky-pop then this Newcastle band have got the tunes you need in your life. Their latest goes off like a Roman candle, riffs exploding over a pell-mell tune that is Arena-sized in scope and played with the kind of ebullience that sweeps you right up.” We stand by every word. They’ll be supported by Near Life Experience, Pale Ale, Reverie, and Lydia Harvey. The following night sees Burnout on headline duties (a three-piece punk rock powerhouse with a hard modern edge). Supporting them are Wretch, Noise Pollution, Indigo, and Plagues Upon You. The final night is headlined by Deathrattle with support coming from Helldawg, Volta, Fractures and Rancor. All money raised from ticket sales will go towards improving the venue, and all the bands are performing without taking a fee. Rock on!
