The awesome Ministry of Bounce are holding a Halloween special in Newcastle on 24 October (which, hey, isn’t Halloween in my book but you can take that up with them).

On headline duties for this megabash is Belfast’s Shugz (pictured) a fella who combines high-energy with air-tight mixing. From humble beginning he swiftly rose through the ranks with his sound breaking down barriers of dance music hither and thither. No rules and straight up energy are the touchstones of his live sets, producing a plethora of styles including techno, trance, hard techno as well as a more commercial sound. He’s just one of the big names playing this night (check website for the rest) but know that Room 2 of this event will be taken over by NRG Promotions with their legendary After Dark brand.
