Ghostwoman consist of Belgium/Canada-based duo Ille van Dessel and Evan Uschenko and this, their fourth album, is toting real scuzzy delights. They marry krautrock with low-slung psych-rock-grunge by way of the Velvet Underground and Nick Cave, and then they chuck in a healthy dash of Americana that sounds like it’s been maturing in big oak barrels for hundreds of years. And, hey, they’ve found time to hit us up with some killer tunes too. Nice of them. DP
