Nash! Sealy! Yes!
Hailing from County Kerry, Lorraine Nash has been lauded as "The Future of Irish Folk" by The Irish Independent and I’m not arguing with that. A multi-instrumentalist from a young age, her music beautifully weaves traditional Irish sounds with elements of folk, country, and Americana in ways that both beguile and delight. Expect heartfelt compositions and a voice that justifies comparisons with the likes of Emmylou Harris and Laura Marling. Joining her is Dan Sealy, known for his work with Brit rockers Ocean Colour Scene, as well as Merrymouth. Sealy brings his own distinct flavour to the stage, and promises a set that spans his varied career – likely peppered with engaging anecdotes. This should be an intimate and enriching performance, showcasing two compelling artists whose blend of traditional roots and contemporary influences is sure to warm the Cluny 2 on an autumn night. GM
