The West End sensation ‘Inside No.9 Stage/Fright’ is coming to the Sunderland Empire this September. I mean: JUST YES!

Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith’s TV show ‘Inside No. 9’ was undoubtedly one of the best TV shows of the last decade or so. It signed off last year with a fabulous ninth and final series, but fans – certainly the fans who could get to London – were blown away by the stage version which was a sell-out success in the West End. And now it’s touring, which is great news for north-east fans. To give away any of the plot points would be to do you a disservice but it should be noted that at each performance a celebrity ‘hostage’ performs with Pemberton and Sheersmith. In London they included the likes of Stephen Fry, Tasmin Greig and Rob Brydon. Who will we get…
