Once again, The Hatton Gallery is the place to head if you want to check out the extraordinary new work from students on Newcastle University’s MFA Fine Art Degree course.

I never miss these shows as I love getting a handle on which way the art world is moving. And who better to point the way than students, all these budding Hepworths and Hockneys. If you’ve never been to one before then you should know that the Newcastle University Fine Art MFA Degree Show brings together the work of emerging artists at both the mid-point and the culmination of two years’ worth of study on the MFA. The exhibition will include a really diverse set of voices, practices and media including painting, new media, film, video, sculpture, photography, print and illustration. Fill yer boots.
