Some months can be more high octane than others for queer events, with a lot of companies focusing on Pride Season in the summer and LGBTQ+ History Month, but Sister Shack keeps us together all-year round with a huge events programme. From cosy socials with talks and performances, yoga sessions designed to ground and empower the global majority, queer ecology workshops tying the natural world into our human perspective, and of course our beloved Bend&Shake parties, there’s something for everyone. Sister Shack is a CIC that we love to feature, as their work in nurturing our queer society in the North East is monumental, and we endeavour to keep their events in our listings to show our support.
