Gateshead is making a huge song and dance this August with a very fabulous, and very free, knees-up at Baltic Square.

To round off an amazing programme of events for Gateshead Pride this year, the south side of the Tyne is going to be bursting with music and entertainment from some local and national stars alike. Rupaul’s Drag Race winner Danny Beard (pictured) brings their typical laughs; Betty Boo is back from the 90s doing what she does best (i.e. “Doin’ the Do”); and Union J’s Jaymi Hemsley will be belting out iconic tunes for you to sing along to. Local talents taking to the stage will include The Future is Queer, Lorraine Crosby, Ophelia Balls and so, so much more, so get your best dancing shoes on and get ready to party. MW
