If you’re looking for a show that’s as empowering as it is silly, Geet Northern Show, the brainchild of Rhian Jade, is the one. While every show is different, hilarious sketches about the dramatic lives of pickles in a jar, Geordies living in medieval times, and sing-alongs exploring queerness are just a few weird and wonderful examples of what to expect.

The Queer cabaret performed by Northern artists uses the format of a television chat show to brilliantly deliver the unexpected. Classic sofa interviews, celebrity self-promotion, and live performances allow for comical characters and great audience participation.

Geet Northern Show is a celebration of being different, being together, and best of all being Northern. I’m sure the huge smiles and loud cheers from the audience in The Alphabetti Theatre would agree with me that its creators, Rhian Jade, Harrison Rowley-Lynn, and Meena Al-Nawrasy have made pure joy with this show.
