Tone on, tune in

The legend that is Fat Tony is playing the next Devotion party at The Keys in Yarm this July, and that can only mean one thing: good times by the bucketful.

There’s not too many DJs that have made the Sunday Times best-seller list, but Fat Tony’s autobiography ‘Memoirs: I Don’t Take Requests’ has had that particular distinction. But with little wonder because it’s a fab read (his Instagram page is also well worth checking out). This fella has been cooking up a real dancefloor storm for 35 years now, playing all over the world at the likes of Glitterbox, Warehouse Project and Ministry of Sound. Tonight he’ll be supported by local hero Karl Frampton and Devotion DJ extraordinaire Mark Thornton for a night of pure house bliss. And no – none of them will take requests so don’t ask.

Devotion: Fat Tony, Saturday 12 July, The Keys, Yarm, 9pm-2am, £8, skiddle.com
