Anita Jazmin was the winner of the 2023 Spotlight Washington Open Exhibition and you can see a complete show of her work at a new exhibition entitled ‘People, Places & Paddling’, which is at Arts Centre Washington until early July.

Anita Jazmin’s creations are inspired by the world around her, particular the incredible beauty that nature manages to serve up. But her ‘People, Places & Paddling’ exhibition explores a variety of subjects – including portraits – that capture the essence of character through expressive lines. It also flags up her playful approach with mixed media, including using driftwood in ever-imaginative ways. Delicious colours dance and sparkle across her pieces as she expresses her emotions and experiences of the world around her.
