The Sons are coming up

Californian rockers extraordinaire Rival Sons are hightailing it to the Stockton Globe in early July for a show that is sure to have a celebratory air about it.

Rival Sons are getting ready to party. Not only were they hand-picked by Guns N’ Roses to support them on their latest stadium tour, they’re also one of the bands that’s been selected to appear at Black Sabbath’s ‘Back To The Beginning’ gig on 5 July. This long sold-out mega event will feature the last ever appearance of Black Sabbath and they will be supported by a who’s who of rock outfits including the likes of Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Alice In Chains, Anthrax and, yes, Rival Sons. The band has steadily built a loyal following since forming in 2009, super-charging the spirit of rock and roll with a soaring vocal attack, thunderous grooves and fiery guitar work. Since then they’ve been twice nominated for a Grammy and toured with other legends such as The Rolling Stones and AC/DC. This Stockton gig takes place just two days before that Sabbath knees-up so expect the band to be firing on all cylinders. GM
