Deptford Northern Soul Club is coming to Ku Bar in Stockton on the last day of May, which is incredible news whichever way you look at it.

Deptford Northern Soul Club is made up of childhood friends Will Foot and Lewis Henderson, and their early love of soul was fired after they discovered Lewis’s dad’s record collection. This led on to their debut DJ set at Deptford’s Bunker Club in 2016 and since then they’ve taken their popular club night around the UK, performing at the likes of Glastonbury, Green Man and End of the Road. They say: “We have never been interested in nostalgia – we love soul music because it’s brilliant. We think it resonates with young people today as it has a timeless, universal message: what really matters resides in relationships, not material things.” Amen to that! Expect super sweet sounds and sizzling vibes to go.
